Young Indigenous Printmakers

This exhibition features linocut prints created by high school students from schools in the Townsville region including Carinity Education Shalom. The students undertake skills development workshops with established artists at their schools and downstairs at Umbrella in The Studio.

Exhibitions launch

Young Indigenous Printmakers will open alongside FORCED PERSPECTIVE, Suzannah Babicci – Earth Division and Veronica Calarco - Gwrando… to listen with speeches from approximately 6:30pm. Please join us to celebrate these artists and works. Invite your friends via the Facebook event here.

This collaborative outreach project is a partnership with Townsville City Galleries. The students were supported by artist mentors including Aicey Zaro and Margaret Robertson.
