2024 Umbrella Members' Exhibition

Artificial: 2024 Umbrella Members’ Exhibition, Digital composite image including manipulated AI-prompted images, courtesy Daniel Qualischefski of Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts.

Umbrella’s annual Members’ exhibition is back with the thought-provoking theme of 'Artificial'. Our members have been inspired by artificial materials, artificial intelligence, and less literal interpretations of the theme – the artificial division of people, our declining natural environment, and the inevitable change of employment due to ever-evolving technology.

We are pleased to announce 86 exhibiting artists: Hannah Aiello | Meg Allford | Robert Andrews |  Lisa Ashcroft | Ann Bartholomeusz | Neil Binnie | Justin Bishop | Jenny Bowmer | Phoebe Bowmer-Cozzutto | Graeme Buckley | Jodie Campbell | Alan Carpenter |  Barbara Cheshire | Daniel Clark | Ingrid Dahlström | Maria de los Angeles Pena | Sylvia Ditchburn | dOM | Rob Douma | Therese Duff | Helen Ellacott | Kerrie Everett Horrocks | Bridget Ferguson | Sandy Fisher | Tony Fitzsimmons | Monica (mon) Foley | Marion Gaemers | Amanda Galea | Lisa Gianni | Richard Gillespie | Ciaran Glasheen | Elaine Harrison | Seppo Hautaniemi | Jeananne Hawthorn | Paint Head | Kit Holloway | Sandi Hook | Wendy Hume | Jan Hynes | Ashleigh Jane | Samantha Jane | Vicki Katthagen | Theodore Kennett-Raj | Sheree Kinlyside | Karen Landt-Isley | Uli Liessmann | Anne Lord | William Loveday | Ali Macdiarmid | Jan Malkin | Kevin Mayo | Jim McArthur | Alison McDonald | Charlotte McDonnell | mttromi | Aldona Nunez  | Sue O'Malley | Lyn Onton | Jill O'Sullivan | Barbara Pierce | Michael Pope | Stacey Prince | Danish Quapoor | Nenet Ramos | André Reynaud | Margaret Robertson | Lucy Robinson-Tillett | Marc Roth | David Rowe | Sam Rundle | ASads Amanda Sadler | Samuel Scott | Lynn Scott-Cumming | Rhonda Stevens | Sarah Treadwell | Jenny Tyack | Anika Tucker | Marionne van Katwijk | Ann Vardanega | Natalie Ward | Sonia Ward | Catherine Watt | Michelle Weaver | Dahé Wie | Jack Wilkie-Jans | Fay Withers
