This exhibition presents work by Girramay/Jirrbal Traditional Owners and emerging artist sisters Toni Bullarh, Trisha Nungayin and Marley Binda Beeron. The artists’ practices predominantly span painting, weaving and ceramics. The sisters are from the Murray Upper region in North Queensland, with family connections to the Jumbun community near Murray Falls. Their works draw on Cultural knowledge and stories passed down through their family, particularly from their grandparents Claude and Theresa Beeron, and through the guidance of their mother, who is also an artist. Their works reflect an ongoing connection to Country, community and intergenerational knowledge-sharing.

This exhibition is presented in partnership with Girringun Aboriginal Art Centre.
