Ann Vardanega is a photographic artist based in Ingham on Warrgamaygam Country. The artist works with light and a range of photographic techniques ranging from the simple camera obscura through to high-tech infrared photography.

Discover alternative printing techniques in this workshop with Ann Vardanega. The artist will detail the history of photography as a precursor of the workshop, providing context for the processes to be used. Vardanega will then guide participants to make two distinctive cyanotype prints each, using botanical samples and light sensitive papers.

The artist will guide participants through the fundamentals of these processes. Vardanega will also offer portfolio reviews, advice and critiques of photographic work. Participants should bring their own laptop.
