Art Fair Workshop | Explore Nature Fantastic

Lynn Scott-Cumming

Work with local artist Lynn Scott-Cumming to create nature-inspired drawings embellished with fantasy. Lynn will demonstrate drawing techniques using a combination of ink and watercolour or gouache. Participants will work on a series of sketches and complete a finished A3 sized artwork on paper. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of how to extrapolate from the wonderful variety of plants to be found in nature to create imaginary botanical creations.

Participants may bring photographs or specimens of colourful plants to use as inspiration for their drawing, or choose from Lynn’s collection of images, artwork examples and botanical material. Beginners and artists with intermediate skills welcome. All materials and equipment supplied.

Limited to 8 spaces (ages 18+) | All bookings subject to Umbrella's workshop and public programs booking policy.

This workshop is part of the PUNQ Art Fair: A Constructed World.
