Silversmithing & Ring-making #2

Join Umbrella and award-winning artist Alison McDonald in The Studio to create your very own ring from sterling silver!

Attendees will learn the fundamental processes of silversmithing, including soldering, and learn how to measure, cut, saw, hammer, and file the metal to create a ring. As a result, participants will take home a completed, personal, and one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery.

The workshop will be suitable for beginners, and attendees will be guided through every step of the process. Class sizes are small and enable one-on-one teaching – so book early to ensure your spot!

Please note that there will be a 30-minute lunch break. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. Participants should wear closed-in shoes in The Studio.

Please note this workshop has now sold out. Please feel free to contact [email protected] to express your interest in this workshop and to be added to the waiting list.
