Miriam Joan Montgomery is a Sydney based artist working in a variety of mediums including installation, collage and printmaking, although drawing is most often the focus of her practice. Primarily depicting unusual and androgynous human forms, her work portrays a sense of mystery, uncertainty and isolation. After graduating from Sydney College of the Arts (Honours) in 2007, and from COFA with a Master of Design (2013) she has been involved in many group exhibitions in Sydney and NSW, and held her first solo show Nowhere Stare in 2014. Last Year she was also guest artist in Yen Magazine (issue 70) and a finalist in Cakes Wines Archi-Bottle.
