Écoulement turbulent

This work is part of a series of studies focused on the movement of the wind in the sails of a boat. Depending on the sail’s orientation, winds create a way with a return effect that will move forward the boat. It is this movement that I try to present in these works. In ¨Écoulement turbulent¨, the sail in front is opened and the large sail is closed which accentuates the air return and creates the turbulence. This work is made with two matrix in wood, one for each of the two colors. The white paper acts as a third color, and the work is editatéd in ten reproductions.
