Pygmy-possum

A Mountain Pygmy-possum is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. They live in the boulder fields of Australia’s alpine regions, hibernating in winter and eating Bogong moths in summer. With less than three thousand remaining in the wild, this possum is one of Australia’s most endangered species.
