Tabula rasa: vessels lie

The vessels are metaphor for 18th century Australian colonial incursion, when the country was considered a tabula rasa; an empty vessel to be taken & written over; Indigenous peoples considered invisible. The underlying lithograph is by Judy Watson. Transparency of the images represents the crossing of Indigenous & non-Indigenous people in a gesture of reconciliation.
