Ned and Max 2002
Ned and Max is a digital print of a boy and a dog who have two things in common; they are both totally devoted to each other and their grandfather. As a printer, I make work, using traditional and non-traditional techniques of printmaking. I began working in digital media in 1998, as a means toward an end; I wanted to create works that had a specific look which could be best achieved using this method. In 2000 I completed a Doctorate in Creative Art using both traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques. Moving between the traditional and non-traditional is for me both energizing and rewarding.
