Goldfish

I enjoyed responding to the challenge of the small print size, as well as the opportunity presented by the unique framing. I liked the idea of a transparent container (CD case) and journeyed down a path of things that are contained. I chose a goldfish for its innocuous innocence. But fish are also a symbol of the unconscious mind and goldfish quickly forget. This image is a conversation around a trapped subconscious mind that ‘quickly forgets’ its lessons. A commentary on mental health.
