Hospitalitas? – a visual comment on the current refuge situation

Was born in England in 1966 and as a child emigrated to Australia with my family. Always creative, I was inspired by my artist mother Patricia Devin. It wasn’t until I had a family of my own and was living in Darwin however, that I was moved to put brush to canvas. Excited by the variety of many different mediums, my favourites currently being oils, and the highly addictive world of printmaking – chiefly woodcuts and engravings. I manage to juggle three careers of Wife, Mother and Artist and thanks to the support of my family giving thanks for all of these to God.

“Let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17
