“Tpl’a” is a shortened form of French words “tiré par l’artist.” It means, that the artist has printed the work. This definition is regular in European countries.
I have made a several prints for the theme “Winter images”. In Scandinavia, in Finland we are worried about pollution and its influence to the climate. Last winter we waited and waited for the snow in November, in December, in January, in February. We got a little snow in the latter half of February! In Scandinavian countries and especially for the artist, the snow is important, because during the dark season October -January the snow reflects the light of the sky. It brings more light to the world. What if we loose our beautiful white winter, what if we cannot ski and enjoy snow and ice ever more in our country! We have had four totally different seasons with the special beauty of the changing nature. What shall we have in future? Which other changes shall we have? The snowfall in my prints is a visual description of the winter season and also a reminder of an important thing: Save the Nature and Peace on the Earth.
