Materialism

‘Materialism’ discusses the notion of matter being a fundamental substance existing in space that when arranged differently provides all the variety of the world. I translate this nation as component parts that when arranged together make way for explorations of design and aesthetic.

Here I have digitally manipulated a component part of Frank Gehry’s Bilbao Museum model and reassembled the individual parts to form this aesthetic whole.  The flower within the construct is a reminder of nature as history and the beauty of what is natural.
