Pissing in an empty land

Born 1969, I spent 6 or so years of art school training, an ongoing pursuit ( now studying an MA ) specialising in printmaking. I did the obligatory European Tour and returned to Australia with the realisation that I know less than nothing about “Australia” . I’ve started learning what I can about “Australia” and have decided that the fundamental failure of European colonialisation (aside from the crimes against humanity) is that the Europeans, have largely failed to comprehend that there is a totally different paradigm here. You still see idiots watering the desert (or car) in a drought. I’m trying to see clearly what Australia is and who it is and that the land owns.
