A Boat Full of Bees

This print was made in response to a great dream that I had and a real event that I saw. The dream involved travelling on a huge ship made entirely out of ice through a sea full of glaciers. Everything was white. On the bow of the ship were millions of honeycombs and hive cities, everything was buzzing and thriving. That was the whole dream. Much later, during a time when I was awake, it was the bush fire season and everything was really hot and dry. I saw a large leaf floating on a lake. In the middle of the leaf were a bunch of hot bees – all floating and drinking from the water around them.
