Born 1942, I currently share partly renovated home with Ian (Husband/SEC retiree) , Basil (very large dog), Bella (very small dog) and Noddy (ancient donkey) on 5 acres in rural Victoria. I have been involved in all facets of arts and culture in our community and feel it is very important to nurture these. I became interested in the practical interest after MCTD (degenerative illness) forced retirement in ’81. I attended weekly workshops at Latrobe Regional Gallery studying various media with a great tutor and group this was a wonderful start socially, artistically and therapeutically. I began formal studies at Gippsland TAFE in 1993 but have not yet completed because of illness. I have also participated in short courses in watercolour and printmaking at Monash University, ARC Yinnar and so on. Have won awards at Regional Art Galleries and Arts shows, organised dual exhibition and entered and sold at various shows in Gippsland and Melbourne.
