Musket Shots

My print is a response to the following passage from Bryce Courtney’s The Potato Factory, 1995 –

“But she don’t come tumblin’ down, instead she starts to pick leaves from the tree and stuff them in her gut, in the hole that O’Leary’s muskets made. We all shoot, but she stays up, and each time a shot strikes home she spits at us and stuffs more leaves where the new holes be.”
