Middle Kingdom landscape

In China recently my partner discovered a recycled tar-based material used for roofing insulation. It has a random pattern in which I immediately saw printmaking possibilities. Using some off-cuts I cut a few landscape-inspired blocks. The title is taken from the translation of ‘Zhong Guo’, as China known in Mandarin.
