Coded production processes and the con (fusion) of aural, verbal and visual devices in communicative themes related to the social and political are the basis of my art practice. Reproduction is the key to this image which continues a dialogue with earlier works. Subject (2002), a synthesis of Wool and Clay (1999) and Up Close (1999), each a unique image involving autographic processes, were drawn onto stone in the production of a limited edition of lithographs. This new de (generation), a digital image generated from a photograph of the second, intends a reference to production and reproduction in the myriad contexts the subject exists.
