On the day after today

This work reflects my interest in the war generation and the repressive manner it is represented. Developing in a society such as this, my youth was a labyrinth of socially incomprehensible codes, ones that still present to me like this emblematic freeze. When I look at this image, I see the scars beneath the social patina.
