Irukandji trio

Irukandji is the Aboriginal word for the small tropical stinging jellyfish found in North Queensland waters. Some beaches install safety nets to protect swimmers. Irukandji are beautiful, graceful, translucent and deadly. I have attempted to capture these traits with a collagraph constructed with threads, mesh and chine collé.
