Woody Sandpiper – endangered species

This print was developed as part of a series relating to the “Overwintering Project”, which aims to bring attention to the plight of migratory birds coming to Australia as their habitats are altered or destroyed by industry and the urban sprawl. The Woody Sandpiper is rarely sighted on the Fraser Coast anymore.
