Angela Gardner

ala moana 3217

This print is named after the hotel room in Hawai’i where I cut the two lino blocks while travelling on a Churchill Fellowship. It is part of a series of ‘bridging’ works which endeavor to bridge a compositional gap between two blocks cut without reference to each other. The square format means their alignment and colour can be manipulated until these disparate elements come together.
