Join Umbrella and local artist Katya Venter to develop unique artworks with a 3D pen. This approach enables a shift away from a flat surface to designing and drawing three-dimensional forms. The artist will lead participants through the 3D-printed techniques and processes used to create the sculptures presented in her recent exhibition How to be a Good Doll, whose abstract forms inspired curiosity and reflection.

The workshop will be suitable for beginners and artists alike. The fee covers all materials needed for the workshop: a 3D pen, PLA filament and a variety of objects that can be used as reference or base for the sculptures. The workshop ticket price includes one 3D pen (new, apart from use in the workshop; RRP $79.95) that participants will keep. Attendees should wear closed-in shoes in the studio.

The first two of Katya's 3D Pen Workshops were very popular and sold out quickly - so book in soon!

Limited to 8 spaces (ages 18+) | Bookings close 4pm Thursday 1 December 2022. | If you are not already an Umbrella Member and want the workshop discount, sign up here.
